This very special process allows for the construction of knitted garments with the structure and compactness of woven fabric but the softness and comfort of a knitwear item. The resulting garments are truly exclusive pieces, one-of-a-kind jackets, overshirts and bombers, where the design blends with tweed and natural colors. The result is timeless elegance, with the flavor of innovation and tradition, in full harmony with the Mauro Ottaviani concept. For Mauro Ottaviani the TEXTURED technique was used to work a wool and cashmere buttoned yarn together with a 140’s combed wool yarn to obtain a herringbone pattern with a vintage taste of Highland tweeds. The different weights and textures of the two yarns create a highly structured final result, with a pronounced raised effect.
