2. Methods of collecting Personal Data
The Personal Data subject to processing activities by the Data Controller may be collected from the Data Subject, also through the remote communication techniques used by the Data Controller (e.g., websites, apps for smartphones and tablets, call centers, etc.);

The Personal Data processed by the Data Controller include, by way of example:
- browsing data (e.g., IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server, and other parameters related to the operating system and browser used by the user, logs);
- personal data (e.g., first name, last name, tax code, address, date and place of birth, nationality);
- contact data (e.g., phone numbers, landline and/or mobile, email address);
- profiling and marketing data (e.g., interests and passions); other data related to the categories mentioned above.
4. Purposes and legal basis of processing
Personal Data, when the specified conditions are met, will be processed for the purposes indicated below:
- registration on the website and management of contact requests and/or informational material
The processing of the personal data of the Interested party takes place to carry out the preliminary and subsequent activities related to the request for registration on the website, if provided, as well as for managing requests for information and contact and/or sending of informational material, as well as for the fulfillment of any other obligation arising.
The legal basis for this processing is the fulfillment of the services related to the request for registration, information, and contact and/or sending of informational material, and compliance with legal obligations.
The provision of data is optional; however, the potential refusal of the Interested party to provide the data results in the impossibility for the Data Controller to proceed with the requested service.

Personal Data will be processed for the management of the contractual relationship (for example, for invoicing fees, for managing payments or complaints that you may send us) and for the provision of requested services available through the website.
The legal basis for this processing is the fulfillment of the services related to the contractual relationship and compliance with legal obligations.
The provision of data is optional; however, the potential refusal of the Interested party to provide the data results in the impossibility for the Data Controller to proceed with the requested service.
- fulfillment of legal obligations, defending a right in judicial or extrajudicial settings, and fraud prevention
Personal Data will be processed to fulfill legal obligations, as well as to ascertain, exercise, or defend a right of the Data Controller and/or to defend against claims from others, in judicial or extrajudicial settings. In particular, the Data Controller may process Personal Data to fulfill accounting, tax obligations, and to comply with measures from the judicial authority aimed at preventing and repressing crimes.
The legal basis for this processing is the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller, taking into account the balancing of the rights of the latter and the Interested party.
- promotional activities on Services/Products similar to those purchased
The processing of the personal data of the Interested party takes place for the sending of communications related to promotions and offers of Services/Products of the Data Controller that are identical and/or similar to those covered by the ongoing contract with the Interested party, unless they have initially objected to such processing or at the time of subsequent communications.
The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller to promote products or services that the customer may reasonably be interested in, taking into account the balancing of the rights of the latter and the Data Controller.
The Interested party has the right to object at any time, for reasons related to their personal situation, to the processing of personal data concerning them for the purpose in question.
- Promotional activities on Services/Products offered by Maglificio Maurel snc
The processing of the Data Subject's personal data takes place for the sending, with specific consent, of communications regarding promotions and offers of Services/Products from the Controller through traditional methods (e.g., regular mail, operator calls) and/or automated methods (e.g., email, SMS, MMS, fax, pre-recorded calls).
The legal basis for this processing is the consent given by the Data Subject prior to the processing itself, which can be freely revoked at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out previously.
The possible refusal of the Data Subject to give consent results in the inability to use the related services, without this having prejudicial consequences for the contractual relationship with the controller.

The processing of the Data Subject's personal data takes place for the sending, with specific consent, of communications regarding promotions and offers of Services/Products from commercial partners of Maglificio Maurel snc through traditional methods (e.g., regular mail, operator calls) and/or automated methods (e.g., email, SMS, MMS, pre-recorded calls).
The legal basis for this processing is the consent given by the Data Subject prior to the processing itself, which can be freely revoked at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out previously.

The processing of Personal Data, including location data, sociodemographic data acquired during the provision of electronic communication services and from public sources, of the Data Subject takes place, with specific consent, for profiling purposes such as analysis of transmitted data and purchased Services/Products in order to propose advertising messages and/or commercial offers in line with the choices expressed by the users themselves. This activity will be carried out in an aggregated and anonymized form through the implementation of models for analyzing customer data using statistical algorithms, predictive models, and aggregations only for the time strictly necessary for the pursued purposes, the type of goods marketed, or the services rendered.
In any case, the Personal Data will not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect the data subject.

5. Recipients of personal data
The personal data collected may be communicated to parties who will act, as appropriate, as independent Controllers or Processors, for the purposes mentioned above, in compliance with legal, regulatory obligations and/or arising from community legislation or because they hold a legitimate interest. In particular, the Personal Data may be made available to:
- subjects entrusted with the execution of activities related and instrumental to the processing (archiving service companies, IT service companies, social media management service companies, marketing companies, insurance companies, banking institutions);
- business partners of Maglificio Maurel snc;
- Public administrations, to Authorities and other subjects in fulfillment of legal obligations;
Personal Data will not be disclosed (made available to unspecified subjects).
6. Transfer of data to third countries
The Personal Data of the Data Subject are stored in archives located in countries of the European Union. Where necessary for the pursuit of the declared purposes, the Data of the Data Subject may be transferred abroad, to countries/organizations outside the European Union that ensure a level of personal data protection deemed adequate by the European Commission with its decision, or otherwise based on other appropriate guarantees, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission or the consent of the Data Subject. 7. Retention period of personal data
The Data will be kept in a form that allows the identification of the Data Subject for a period not exceeding that necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, taking into account the applicable laws to the activities and sectors in which the Data Controller operates.
Once the established terms have elapsed, the Data will be deleted or transformed into anonymous form, unless their further retention is necessary to fulfill obligations (e.g., tax and accounting) that remain even after the termination of the contract (art. 2220 c.c.) or to comply with orders issued by Public Authorities and/or Supervisory Bodies.
The duration of the cookies used on the site can be found in the specific Cookie Policy: In case of disputes, the retention period mentioned above may be extended up to 10 years from the resolution of the same.
8. Methods of processing
The processing will be carried out by authorized personnel who need to be aware of it in the performance of their activities, with the aid of electronic tools, according to principles of legality and correctness, in order to protect at all times the confidentiality and rights of the data subject in compliance with current regulations.
Profiling related to marketing (analysis of consumption habits and choices) occurs through an automated process aimed at studying and analyzing behavioral profiles and characteristics of the customer base to optimize promotional activities for products and services.
9. Rights of the data subject
The Data Subject has the right to request the Data Controller:
- the confirmation of whether or not processing of their Personal Data is ongoing and, in that case, to obtain access (right of access);
- the rectification of inaccurate Personal Data or the completion of incomplete personal data (right to rectification);
- the deletion of the Personal Data if one of the reasons provided for by the Privacy Regulation exists (right to be forgotten);
- the restriction of the processing of Personal Data when one of the cases provided for by the Privacy Regulation occurs (right to restriction);
- to receive in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format the Personal Data provided to the Data Controller and to transmit such data to another Data Controller (right to data portability);
- to object at any time, in whole or in part, to the processing carried out for the pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Data Controller and for marketing and profiling purposes (right to object);
- to revoke any consent to the processing of Personal Data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation.
The consent given for marketing activities using automated contact methods (including but not limited to SMS, MMS, fax, phone calls, email, web applications) also extends to traditional contact methods (postal mail or phone calls with an operator). Similarly, the objection to marketing activities using automated contact methods also extends to traditional contact methods. You retain the right to provide consent or exercise the right to object in relation to only one of the two methods of executing marketing activities.

The Data Subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in Italy (Data Protection Authority) or with the authority that carries out its tasks and exercises its powers in the Member State where the violation occurred, as provided for in Article 77 of the Regulation, as well as to take appropriate legal action pursuant to Articles 78 and 79 of the Regulation.
